Hi! My name is Darlyn and I am the founder of Your Darling Pets. Growing up I always loved animals but I had no idea working with them would be my purpose in life. I attended college and got my first job in 2016 as a paralegal while pet sitting on the side. When I got laid off from that job I realized that I wasn’t happy at a desk job and so I decided I wanted to pursue pet care & dog training full time. I started offering boarding, dog walking, pet sitting, and got my certification for dog training. I landed a part time job as a dog trainer & decided to expand my business by hiring some amazing people to join my team! Everyday I am so grateful that I made the decision to pursue working with animals & I hope that we can continue helping families with their pets.

Hey, I’m Luis! I’ve been with Your Darling Pets since 2018, and I’m a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavioral College with 8 years of experience in pet care. My journey started at John Jay College where I was aiming for a career in criminal justice, but it didn’t take long for me to realize that working with dogs was my true calling. I’m a dog dad to my Staffy, Mando, and I’m pumped to lead pack walks and manage group outings. I focus on creating a structured but fun environment for the dogs in my playgroups, and I love seeing them thrive!

Hi my name is Jynnette and I am a team member here at Your Darling Pets. I’ve always known I wanted to work in pet care. Fun Fact: For my 5th grade career day I showed up as a Dog Trainer! I was always told pet care wasn’t a long term career so after high school I attended Kean University to pursue a degree in teaching. I quickly realized it was not right for me and decided to attend Bergen Community College and begin working with Your Darling Pets instead. I graduated with my associated in business in 2022 and in 2023 I got my dog grooming certification through a program at Penn Foster. I am currently interning with a local groomer & hope to offer grooming soon. I can’t wait to see you and your pup for your next service!
